The Malwa Institute of Technology, Indore Library with its modern collection of knowledge resources and innovative information services fills an essential role for students, faculty, and the surrounding community in their intellectual pursuits. It is a hybrid library with the state-of-the-art technological applications. The library also offers access to thousands of electronic books, journals electronic resources and open access databases. The collection in the library comprehend 30000 books 2000 e-books varying in subjects like Engineering, Management, Basic Science & Humanities and also includes reference books, project reports, CD-ROMs, VCDs, DVDs and e-resources, Library is also decorated by 61 National and International print Journals and 11 National news papers. MIT library is fully automated with integrated ERP and has utilized Information Technology extensively to ensure that resources are accessible from anywhere at any time through Web OPAC for checking online availability and reserving online, databases makes the library user friendly and remote access to e-resources. Multimedia section to access NPTEL video lectures on various subjects and topics is also available. It provides a contributing environment for intellectual inquiry by providing user-focused services to obtain and evaluate scholarly information and knowledge.
